Sailing area: Aramco / KSAKey responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering department and all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines, generators, and power distribution.
- Lead troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance schedules.
- Enforce safety, environmental and company procedures; ensure compliance with Aramco requirements.
- Manage spare parts, inventory, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with vessel Master and shore-based technical teams.
Requirements:
- Proven Chief Engineer experience on jack-up barges or similar offshore units.
- Valid marine engineering certification and relevant endorsements.
- Strong knowledge of marine propulsion, power systems, and safety regulations.
- Good leadership and communication skills; readiness to work in KSA waters.
